The Clarkson’s were in need of a complete renovation to help bring their kitchen back to life. Situated in an urban setting, they wanted a simple and contemporary design. The key requirement for the Clarkson’s was to maximise and utilise the area in the best way possible without compromising on space.
The inclusion of the central island situated against the left wall was the perfect way to ensure the Clarkson’s had enough space to utilise the kitchen at one time. We also utilised the tall ceilings to maximise the amount of storage and provide the illusion of a larger space.
The space was limiting natural daylight therefore we implemented a wide horizontal window above the kitchen sink space. White naturally brightens up any space so we highly recommended opting for white throughout the kitchen design. This included using the same coloured granite for the worktops as well as the backsplash.
The beauty of this kitchen comes from the use of light natural cabinetry and worktops finished with the dark oak/ wood base. The Clarkson’s were extremely pleased with how we were able to work to the shape of the room and in keeping with the architectural space and dimensions.
We worked with the Clarkson’s throughout the projects life cycle, starting from design to installation of the product and maximise the internal spaces of the kitchen storage areas with an organised and functional flow.
